Europ Assistance Insurance Limited underwrites the Blue Planet Travel Insurance Services policy. Formed in France nearly 40 years ago, Europ Assistance are the world's leading supplier of medical assistance and related services. They cover in excess of 115m people worldwide and provide assistance through 33 operations centres.
Claims Services
Blue Planet Travel Insurance Services aim to provide a “seamless” service and have arranged for all claims to be processed in compliance with FSA & the Association of British Insurers (ABI) guidelines. This ensures that valid claims are paid promptly and fairly.
Claims are received in a variety of formats, (e.g. fax, post, via the Overseas Operations Department, etc.) and this information is then captured on the claims database. The claim is then passed to an in-house Claims Administrator who is responsible for the assessment. Settlement is made in accordance with the policy terms and conditions.
Medical Screening Services
The medical screening service is designed to ensure that the policyholder has the ultimate protection. Blue Planet Travel Insurance Services Medical Underwriting Division provides full medical screening facilities using customised software. The team includes specialist Medical Underwriters and administrators who also have immediate access to our Medical Division.
